Lamplight Fly and Feather was founded in 1973 by Tony Hill and was based in Alsea, Oregon until about 1995. Incorporated as LAMPLIGHT FEATHER, INC. in 2007, we are now located in far northern California in the beautiful Scott Valley, an agricultural region amidst the stunning scenery of Mount Shasta, the Marble Mountains, the Trinity Alps, and the Siskiyou Mountains. We added a new sales office building in the Spring of 2004 and opened our new warehouse and packing facility in the Fall of 2004. In January of 2007 Lamplight Feather relocated its sales office, warehouse, and packing department to a larger facility in downtown Fort Jones located at 11903 Main Street.

Lamplight Feather has been offering prime select decorative feathers since 1973 at such venues as the Oregon Country Fair where we have exhibited for 32 consecutive years. Lamplight has been offering decorative feathers on the internet since November 2002. Our catalog has expanded to over 2000 feather and feather related items.
Tahitian and Polynesian dancers will find a variety of appropriate strung coque, schlappen, and hackle feathers in white, black, gold, orange and red for the creation of a colorful and authentic traditional dance costume. Aztec dancers and Native American artists can peruse our pheasant and turkey feathers for unique natural colored items for costumes and accessories.

Our line of artificial feather birds continues to expand and now includes peacocks, white feather doves, cardinals, parrots, macaws, pheasants, black feather crows, owls, hummingbirds, chickens, penguins, sea gulls, storks, quail, partridges, pigeons, flamingos, and roadrunners. We have recently added a line of exquisite feather butterflies and seasonally stock Halloween black bats and spiders.

In the peacock feathers section we have many different styles to choose from. Eyed peacock feathers, sword peacock feathers, short and long peacock feathers, dyed peacock feathers, white peacock feathers, bleached peacock feathers, and bleached and dyed peacock feathers. We carry traditional colors of peacock feathers, and also more exotic colors in our peacock feathers. We also have peacock feather decorator mixes where you may buy a mix of eyed peacock feathers, and sword peacock feathers. Peacock feathers have many uses including decoration.
In the ostrich feathers section we also have a wide selection. There are many different styles of ostrich feathers, you have ostrich body feathers, and ostrich wing feathers, as well as many different colors and sizes. Ostrich body feathers or drabs tend to be smaller and not as full as the ostrich wing feathers. Ostrich wing feathers tend to have a thick stem where the smaller body ostrich feathers tend to have a smaller stem. We also have some natural ostrich feathers, as well as bright white dyed ostrich feathers. Ostrich feathers can add bulk and flow to your decorations, and events. Ostrich feathers provide a very elegant look to any function.
In our pheasant feathers section you will find many types of pheasant feathers, as well as many different sizes. We have very small pheasant feathers, all the way to 5 foot long pheasant feathers. Pheasant feathers make great displays, or add a little flare to a hat with a pheasant feather. Our types of pheasant feathers include, Lady Amherst pheasant feathers, Silver pheasant feathers, Golden pheasant feathers,Reeves pheasant feathers, and Ringneck pheasant feathers.
We have 3 types of feather boas, chandelle feather boas, ostrich feather boas, and marabou feather boas. In the three types of feather boas, the marabou feather boas are small and fuzzy. The chandelle feather boas are more full and bulky than the marabou boas and add a ruffled look. The ostrich feather boas are the softest and fullest of the feather boas, and they add bulk and movement. Some of the feather boas are for use as trim, or wearing on smaller people, others are for use as wearing or as theater props. All the feather boas are 6 feet in length, and come in many colors and sizes.
We are also proud to offer some of the most lifelike feather birds on the web. Some of our items include, dove feather birds, crow feather birds, parrot feather birds, cardinal feather birds, owl feather birds, and eagle feather birds. We also have smaller feather birds, like hummingbird feather birds, and small partridge feather birds. We also have feather butterflies and bugs in our feather birds section. All our feather birds are artificial. We do not have any real feather birds, only fake feather birds.
In our craft feathers section we have many different types of craft feathers. Some of our inventory includes, turkey craft feathers,goose craft feathers,pheasant craft feathers,ostrich craft feathers, peacock craft feathers,and many other craft feathers for many uses. We have craft feathers in many sizes, as well as craft feathers in many colors. We have craft feathers for your costumes, and craft feathers for your feather masks. We are also proud to offer more unique items such as the stripped coque craft feathers, which add a very exotic look.
Our feather trim section is very extensive, offering feather trim on bias tape, as well as feather trim strung on cording. We have ostrich feather trim, pheasant feather trim, guinea feather trim, coque feather trim, peacock feather trim, marabou feather trim, and many other types of feather trim. We also have feather trim in many different colors. Our chandelle feather trim, comes in many different colors and adds a unique look compared to other feather trim.
Our feather fan section is one of the broadest selections in the market. We are offering more colors of feather fans than ever before, as well as new styles of feather fans all the time. We have ostrich feather fans, peacock feather fans, marabou feather fans, and many combination feather fans. We have both large feather fans and small feather fans. We have feather fans in many colors , and are adding more colors to our feather fans all the time. We are also happy to stock non traditional colors in our peacock feather fans, and offering our customers more variety in our feather fans.
